This year, as a worker of graphite materials, I went to China to visit and learn the latest development of China’s graphite industry. In January, we went deep into the workshop and warehouse, and visited the associations and enterprises of China’s graphite industry through exchanges and discussions with the person in charge and technical personnel of the sales company Industry, harvest a lot.

Graphite is the most widely used anode material for lithium-ion batteries. The increasing demand for lithium-ion batteries mainly causes the new round of graphite consumption transformation due to the rapid development of the new energy automobile industry. At present, China is the fastest-growing country in the global new energy automobile industry, ranking first in the world for three consecutive years, ranking first in the world. In the future, with the rapid development of China’s new energy automobile industry, the delivery volume of lithium-ion batteries will also increase rapidly, which will drive the growth of demand for lithium-ion anode materials, provide a broad market space for the development of high-end graphite materials in China, and make China’s Graphite consumption focus continues to shift to strategic emerging industries.
2 Large scale application of artificial graphite is an inevitable trend.
With the increasing demand for consumer electronic products for lithium battery cycle performance, safety performance, capacity, and multiplying power, artificial graphite suitable for the large-capacity battery have been widely used. Moreover, with the rapid expansion of the power battery market, the market prospect of synthetic graphite, which has more advantages in cycle performance and safety performance, is much better than that of natural graphite. Besides, in the field of energy storage with extensive market prospects, due to the high requirements of the energy storage battery on cycle performance and service life, there is no doubt that enterprises will choose artificial graphite. Under many favorable conditions, the large-scale application of artificial graphite has become an inevitable trend.
